We might become part of your business and take social media off your plate. Or you might just need us to turn up with a camera and a head full of ideas. And if you’ve got a really important day coming up, we can be there to capture all the bits you won’t get to see.

Maybe social media has become one more thing you never seem to get around to. Maybe you’ve got the ideas, but not the time to bring them to life. Or maybe there’s something coming up that matters to you, and you want to make sure you actually get to keep it.

A Little About Us
The funny thing is, The Social Society probably started long before I realised it had.
I first started looking after social media for a boutique back in 2015. After that I worked in accounts, admin, sales, completely different industries, but somehow I always ended up doing the socials too. Apparently if there was an Instagram account nearby, I was getting involved.
Along the way I had my own businesses too, so I’ve been on the other side of it. Trying to build something, get people to notice it and somehow keep showing up online while also doing everything else that comes with running a business.
It took me a while to realise that was the bit I actually loved.
I love finding the story and figuring out how to share it. I love getting people a little outside their comfort zone, coming up with ideas together and helping them show more of who they are and what they’ve created. And probably more than anything, I love the relationships that come with it. The better we know you and your business, the more of you we can put into what we create.
That’s really what The Social Society grew from.
These days we’re a small and growing team. There’s me, Laura, and the creatives we bring in when we need them. We care about the strategy and the numbers, of course, but we’re also big believers in trying things. Not every idea is going to work for every business, so we pay attention, learn what your people respond to and keep building from there.
I think the best work comes from actually caring about the people you’re creating it with. Luckily, that’s my favourite part
